A reading is one of the more personal things you can do with a stranger. You send me your face and I tell you about your life. So you deserve to know, in plain words, exactly what I collect, what I do with it, what I keep, and what I destroy. Here it is. If anything below is unclear, write to me and I will answer you directly.
To give you a reading I collect the photograph or photographs you send, the intake form you fill out (what you want the reading to focus on, and any context you choose to share), and a recording of our session. I keep the written report I prepare for you. Your payment is handled by Square, which means I never see or store your card number. If you join my email list, I keep your email address for that purpose and nothing else.
A photograph of a face is not like other data. It is biometric, it is you, and I treat it that way. I use the photographs you send only to prepare and deliver your reading. Once your report is finished, I delete them. I do not keep a face library, and your photograph never becomes part of any research archive.
If you send me a photograph of someone else, a partner, a parent, your child, I read it for you in your session, and then it is gone with the rest. It never enters research, because that person has not sat down with me and agreed to any of this. Reading a face for you is one thing. Filing a stranger’s face away is another, and I don’t do it.
Our session is recorded so you have it. Within hours you get the link. The cloud copy is then destroyed 72 hours after we finish, so download and save your own copy while you have it. After 72 hours, the recording is gone from my side for good.
The written report is yours to keep, and I keep a copy too, so that if you lose yours or want it again a year from now, I can send it back to you. If you would rather I not hold onto it, tell me and I will delete my copy entirely. No reason needed.
I have said everywhere on this site that face reading is a hypothesis, not a settled science. The only thing that turns a hypothesis into evidence is data, gathered carefully and studied honestly. So I am building a private research archive of readings, and, if you agree to it and only if you agree, the transcript of your reading becomes part of it.
Here is exactly what that means, with nothing left out. The transcript captures both sides of the session kept separate: your questions and comments on one side, my reading and report on the other. Before a transcript enters the archive, your name, your contact details, and identifying specifics are removed. I use the archive for one purpose, to study patterns across many readings as the collection grows, using statistical and machine-learning methods. I do not sell it. I do not share it.
One. A reading is a personal story, and a determined person could sometimes recognize a story even with the names stripped out. That is why I keep the archive confidential and never publish anything that could point back to you.
Two. Once your transcript has been de-identified and folded into the larger set, I can no longer find your single thread inside it to pull it out. So if you ever want out, tell me before that point and I will destroy your transcript completely.
Saying no to research changes nothing about your reading. Same session, same report, same care. It is a genuine choice, offered once, plainly, and never held against you.
I never sell your data. I never share it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers, brokers, or anyone else. There is no second business here quietly running on your information. What you give me is used to read you, to deliver your report, and, with your permission, to study whether this work holds up. That is the whole list.
A few trusted companies handle pieces of this. Each sees only the slice it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy terms. I choose them carefully, but I cannot control their practices, so their policies govern their part.
You can ask me what I hold about you and I will tell you. You can ask me to delete your report, your transcript, or anything else tied to you, and I will, subject to the one limit I described above about de-identified research data that can no longer be isolated. You can leave the email list any time from the link in any email. To use any of these, write to me at the address below and give me a few days to take care of it properly.
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with its date, and I will not apply a weaker standard to data you gave me under a stronger one. For anything at all about your privacy or your data, reach me at the address below.
Before launch: set the physical mailing address (CAN-SPAM requires a real one) and a governing-law line. This is not legal advice; have qualified counsel review, especially for Illinois BIPA, EU GDPR, and China’s PIPL given the international client base.
